Two days with photoshop for this one!! nearly blew a fuse!

Initially thought that i'd paint some dust clouds or nebulae, but then opted to blend in a real picture, coz my brushing skills arent very impressive. add to that a sick mouse and it gets worse!

Hope u'll like it! would like to hear your valuable comments and suggestions.
and pls do check out the full view!

A bit too many stars in my opinion. Try to decrease the brightness and increase the contrasts. Then you'd rule out some of the dimmer stars.
The city lights on the upper right planet is out of place too. There is supposed to be shadow there, so you wouldn't be able too see 'em anyway.

Apart from that though, this is pretty good. I like the wind/mist which just flows over the surface.

yeah, this is cool, I like it much more then descent :) again you've got to many stars, but it's not that bad here. and your planets are really nice :)
a little tip to the stars. zoom out your pics (or look at the thumbnails) and pay attention to the stars you see and the places that seem dark. and try to copy this to the large version :)

wow that's really only complaint is that the terrain looks too smooth. :) i like how you put those two semispheres one up and one down.

thx guys!!

@griff-flyer: The view is indeed from a distant moon.....i'd say volcanic in nature(which gives it the plasma-effect on the surface), and really far away...that accounts for the overall low surface illumination. The environment is hostile...making it rather unfavorable for colonization ;). hop that explains the moon. and the terrain is pretty much mine, thx to terragen.

thanx again for the all the comments & favs!

Very cool, especially starfield is a real kick-ass job! :+fav:
griff-flyer Featured By Owner Feb 3, 2004   Photographer I am: This is a lovely composition of planets. Many, little, huge, small and medium of different colours. The star field is very well done, the terragen landscape also (is it yours BTW?). Let's talk a little about the inhabitet planet though (the only "fault" I can fin in the work!)'s probably my problem but I can't understand it a lot: is it a moon with artificial inhabited bases or a planet with atmosphere and life (don't think so...)? I suggest you remove the artificial illumination on that planet, primarily because now it looks only like a star field :P

This time you won't get the fav though (but a pretty long comment and a lot of     ), you have to impress me with more :D

Ah...I forgot: awesome work ;)
